Transgender activist and journalist Lewis Raven Wallace was fired from his job as a public radio reporter for speaking out against “objectivity” in coverage of Trump and white supremacy. He will read from and sign copies of his new book The View From Somewhere, which questions the concept of journalistic objectivity and how it has been used historically to silence marginalized writers.

He will be joined in conversation by Sam Greenspan, creator and host of Bellweather, a podcast of speculative journalism.
